Continuing with our 'Best of '08' Mashup lists - Chris from over at Culture Bully has compiles a few New Years for your Ears goodies.  First is a top 15 tracks of '08 [HERE] and then a collaborative album entitled '2008 Mashed' [HERE].  Big ups to Chris and the blokes who contributed to his '08 celebration.  Look for some more collaborative workings between MTown and Culture Bully for '09.  Below is #14 on Culture Bully's countdown - The Brat's 'Easy Monday' Cure vs. The Commadores.  Happy New Year folks.  Peace.

Aggro1 - Does Alice in Chains Offend You?

Aggro1 is cranking again.  After a bit of a break he is turning out great tracks at his old warp speed pace.  Tim has a way with the bits that is truly an awesome spectacle to observe.  He has been a staple here on Mtown since we started back in 2005.  Tim and I have spoken about sitting down for an in depth interview for some time and you should expect it in the first quarter of 2009.  Also new for 2009 we will be trying a new method of posting tracks to Mtown.  With the amount of material being produced on the interwebs it really is impossible to monitor and track properly.  Project 'MtownPosterous' will be taking effect soon as we work out the kinks and details.  I have always wanted to experiment with crowd sourcing to gather material for Mashuptown and now there is a service in place that will allow for this to take place.  If you are a producer or just a lova' of Mashups and Bootlegs and want to help contribute to tracks making it to the front page and RSS feed send an email to: mashuptown.editors [at] gmail.com.  Include your 411 and we will review your request and provide details on how this will work.  In fact this post is using our new service.   Now back to the music.  Aggro1 and another fantastic boot.  Rock and Roll. Dance-Pop by "Lady Gaga" has some retouch with Modern Metal Combo "Bullet For My Valentine".
The Songs rockz both ways: Metal-Screams over Dance-Beat, and Pop Vocals over Guitar-Solos. Genre Clash on it's top.
