Aretha Franklin ain't known as the "Queen of Soul" for nothing. Her song "A Deeper Love" is probably one of the best examples of the power and passion she delivers through her vocal chords. And lucky for you M-Town followers, there have been a couple of good mashups with the song over time. The first featured here is a new one by Boston's Lenlow (Luke Enlow, brother of Katie Enlow) and it's a clever, funky mash with Senor Coconut & His Orchestra's brilliant cover of Daft Punk's "Around The World" (DP's original tune is used as well, to help beef up the beats).
Lenlow – Aretha World Aretha Worrrld
Next up is a mashup I obtained at the start of this year which combines Aretha with Justin Timberlake and A Tribe Called Quest. I don't know who the mashup wizard is, so if you know, please drop us a line. This one really brings out Aretha's voice, as she seems to pleading and praying to the heavens. If you've ever wondered what should or should not be labelled as soul music, look no further than here for the archtype vocals.
Aretha's Deeper Love has also been mashed by Kid KO. A Deeper Rigby (with of course The Beatles' Eleanor Rigby). I don't remember whether the track was featured here or elsewhere. If you really can't find it I can host it for you.
Regards,
Rob'

The Mash Up artist for the second one I believe would be DJ Earlybird.
