DJ Schmolli is a "Hamma Princes"

DJ Schmolli has something new! Yeah! He did a special track for his gig at Bootie Munich last week. It is a mix between the Spin Doctors classic "Two Princes" and the number one hit from Germany "Hamma" by Culcha Candela. And he told us that the crowd went wild on this tune...so this is exactly what we need here at MTown!

Young Green Eyed Folks

Mark O'Connor and Liam O'Sullivan are two lads who hail from Kerry, Ireland.  They go by the moniker Synchronoize and are responsible for a couple of mashes you may have heard, including the Foo Fighters vs G ‘n’ R mash “Sweet Times of Mine” and the Muse vs Egg mash “Supermassive Black Eggs.” This time around the boys put that Peter Bjorn & John track “Young Folks” over top of Coldplay’s “Green Eyes”, complete with the whistling you love sliced up and put into the background of the track in a really nice, subtle way. It really seems like a very fair rendition of “Young Folks,” staying true to the original vibe of the song – The difference here is it takes a full listen of the track to feel it instead of on each verse and chorus like the original.

Into the Great Unknown - New Flying White Dots Album

New Flying White Dots has hit the internets.

It's called "Into The Great Unknown" and features music by the likes of Plaid, Aphex Twin, Squarepusher, DJ Shadow and Spritulalized with vocals from Beck, Damon Albarn, Marvin Gaye, Rickie Lee Jones and, of course, Phil and Elton weaved together with some Orb/KLF-esque sound effects to form a unique musical journey.
