TGIF – Wow what a week! Had a barrage of emails from folks all over the globe. Some sent in tracks, some asking for interviews, and even others having me participate in their doctoral theses – just crazy. So to get you all ready for the weekend we’ve got a dope Mash entitled “Put on the Super Freak” – very clever mashup of 'Roxanne' and 'Superfreak'. The artist known as Leebuzz who hails from parts unknown Deutschland produced this fantastic matching of Rick James and the boys from the Police. Wow... Just... Wow...
The best mash I've heard here in some time. It's almost as if Sting and Mr. James (rest in peace) are enemies playing on the same girl. Very, very well done.

When I downloaded this song and played it, it has all sorts of background noise, like it was saved at too high a bit rate (256?), if that makes sense. This is a great mashup, so where can I get a copy that sounds better? I went to the dj's site and tried from there, but same results. Help, pleez.
