Mayday, Mayday we are under attack.....

  We are currently being bombarded with an enormous amount of email and Mashup submissions.  Our aural defenses are being worn down and we are close to surrender.  No seriously, we have never been so overwhelmed with tracks and new artists coming out of the woodwork.  I think some sort of movement is really taking hold.  The enormous amount of creativity and brilliance out there is busting at the seems.  Props to everyone who's submited - Promise I'll get the lot of you up online as time permits.  Today we have a serving of Mix/Mash from our new Comrade "The Hitmaker".  He takes a song off a record that's near and dear to my heart.  The second album I ever bought was 'Forigner Four' (FYI the first was 'Sound Explosion'). This gospel-inflected melody from Foreigner was the initial inspiration that got The Hitmaker started.  Hitmaker vs. "Feels like the first time".  You all have a great rest of the week and word up to Mr. Hitmaker.

Mashuptown and Irn Mnky are proud to present the Online World Premier of "Ordinary Trousers".  This exclusive internet only release just arrived at Mashuptown Records headquarters on the weekend.  Short and sweet at two and a half minutes. Contains "Baggy Trousers" by Madness and "Boys Will Be Boys" by The Ordinary Boys, plus a few other percussion bits.
