Atomic Mint Monday Mashup

  Mashup Marketing Magnificence.  For the past few months I've been trying to get some up and coming bands to mashup their material with more mainstream acts to get their music in front of more listeners.  Well last week I got a little surprise.  AMA sent me a track that was a great Mashup of Atomic Mint vs. Run DMC.  Well I put the track in the cue to play this week and didn't give it another thought.  AMA then sends me a follow up email with links to purchase the Atomic Mint catalog ----of course then Bamn! it hits me....these guys (Atomic Mint) are an indie band.  I had assumed that they were a signed act.  Finally an indie band had the foresight to take their music and Mash it up with a label act - something we've been trying to get indie bands to do for months.   Produced by Adam Rossi "Tricky God" takes Atomic Mints 'Yo Quiero Musica' and mashes it up with Run DMC's  'It's Tricky'.  Make sure you check out AM at their site and grab a couple of tracks.  You all have a great week.  Mashuptown is proud to present:
