Inspired by the recent visit by Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmandinejad DJ Le Clown has hooked up The Spencer Davis Group's 'I'm a Man' with The blokes from Devo. Here is what Le Clown had to say about the track in an exclusive interview with Mashuptown:
MTown: Phillipe, why this track?
DJ LC: Well I don't know why but when I did that boot it was obvious to me that "I'm a man" and Devo's "Jocko Homo" together needed some Gay treatment! "Love like a man" said Alvin Lee! It was too tempting.
MTown: Ya it's a pretty strong track and the video quite spicy with the extra man to man sauce.
DJ LC: You know I'm just a normal raunchy pervert heterosexual myself, but I have gay friends and I think battle for their rights and freedom is not to be finished soon...Have a look to Russia or Iran.
MTown: Ahhh Iran.... did this boot have anything to do with the recent visit to the US of Iran's president?
DJ LC: Mahmoud Ahmadinejad president of Iran recently declares that there were no homosexuals in Iran!; only in the occidental world! That's why I decided to send this boot to M.Town. and dedicate it to him... Indeed there are very few homosexual in Iran cos' they simply hang them straight. Well part from this I didn't want to use to much explicit stuff on this one (asses & dicks) I wanted it strictly "men" and I rather used some kisses which i find much more provocative and romantic (what u think!?)...Well thanks to Freddy Mercury for his fantastic personality and fun. I love you all..."
