We just heard from Guthell that most if not all of his videos will no longer be available on Rapidshare after 10/20/09. He explains below:
"Thanks for the quick reply. Rapidshare put a 25 GB limit on my account,
meaning files not downloaded the last 90 days will automatically be
deleted. Because of this, the availability of my video remixes in DVD
compatible format will be totally dependent on the download traffic
they produce. I do not plan on reuploading the videos, so when they are
gone, they are gone.
I decided to make some changes to the download page, and the way you
download the files. The videos are now grouped in folders based on the
year I created them. The index text file in each folder includes the
full names of all the video remixes available in the folder. This gives
the user a choice in how to download the files; using the text files or
downloading directly from the rapidshare folder. For security reasons I
password protected the folders with the password: mashuptown.
When you make the announcement, please also remember to mention the 6
DVDs that are still available for downloading from rapidshare. You can
link to the boxing day video spectacular post from last year. These
files are also in danger of being automatically downloaded because of
inactivity."
