The CopyCat is back with a new stellar track.
Antony Hegarty is one of my absolutely favorite artists. And knowing my
penchant for classic disco, you can imagine the joy I felt last year,
when he hooked up with NYC disco phenomenon Hercules and Love Affair to
front their glorious disco banger "Blind". A match made in heaven, if
you ask me. Especially the Frankie Knuckles remix. One of the best
tunes of 2008 - without a shadow of a doubt.
However, there always was a tiny little thing that disturbed me with
that track - the stupid phony horns. I always felt that the song
deserved a proper, fully-fledged horn section to take it all the way to
the top. And finally, a few months back I saw my chance to give "Blind"
the musical company and appropriation I felt it deserved... Yup, very
modest, I know...
Here's Hercules & Love Affair ft Antony Hegarty "Blind" vs Santa
Esmeralda's breathtaking, horn-packed, over-the-top, 70s epic cover

Big ups to Copycat. You can find more of his aural catnip HERE. Peace

Ha ha I was just surfing this blog while subsequently searching everywhere for an mp3 link to this song. I had just given up when, lo and behold, there it was on the page I was not expecting to find it on.
I wonder why your links don't show up on the Hype Machine.
Thanks!
