I don't know much about Immuzikation aka Alfredo Lapuz Jr. I don't know where he's from or what his dayjob is.  But that stuff isn't as important as the mashups he's making.  The man gets all acronym-crazy on our asses with L.E.S.D.A.N.C.E. - A combination of Justice's D.A.N.C.E. (Original, Diplo & Tittsworth remixes) and Santogold's L.E.S. Artistes.  Immuzikation says he was sitting on the Justice track for a while before finding the right fit, and it was worth the wait.  For more great Immuzikation mashups, check his myspace HERE, and if you want to download the tracks you can figure out how in his myspace blog.  I definitely recommend you grab "Fish Tacos", and you should check "One More Time To Pretend" while you're at it to.  Anyways, enough blabbing, here comes the acronyms.

Tranterco

This is the first time we've featured  Tranterco here on MTown.  For those who don't know, Tranterco is part of Melbourne's Gameboy/Gamegirl (who's fun tracks "Sweaty/Wet" and "Fruit Salad" are hard things to get out of your head).  Tranterco doesn't re-invent the wheel here, with this A + B mashup - but it's still a sweet production.  Both tracks are loud, clear, and leveled, and you just can't go wrong with such great source material from Spank Rock and The Midnight Juggernauts.  Hopefully we can look forward to the odd mashup besides great original productions from Tranterco in the future.

Ah, shit.  I just did up this whole post about great minds thinking alike, and how Dunproofin' and DJ Lobsterdust both must have had Faith No More's track "Epic" running through their minds lately, as they both came up with a mashup that involves it.  It was gonna be a double post - but then I realized we already posted Lobsterdust's Epic Black Rock!  Anyways, you still get one track out of the deal - Dunproofin's funky mash of "Epic" with Primal Scream's "Loaded" - tracks which he says are virtually the same, one with an ascending chorus, the other with a descending chorus.  It's a funky number, in any case.

Today, something different.
The new DJ Morgoth album "Mash-Up Your Bootz Vol. 3" is out now.
And the different thing is that the subtitle is "Das Deutsche Album" or in translation "The German Album". So this means, there are only German Vocals used in the trackz. Expect some international bands like Blur, Fear Factory, Celldweller, Daft Punk, Evanescence, Kasabian, Depeche Mode, Bloc Party and more meeting up with the German Vocals of Rap/Hip-Hop Artists (Die Fantastischen Vier, Dynamite Deluxe, Jan Delay, Deichkind...), controversial Rock Band (Böhse Onkelz), famous Reggae/Dancehall Group (Seeed), Electro-Acts (Lützenkirchen & Deichkind), Pop-Artist (Ich und Ich) or even some Newcomer, Local & Fresh Bands (Planetakis, Egotronic).

Have fun with the German Vocals of some local Superacts and getting in touch with a few great new artists.

The recommended tune is a mixture of 2 big-sellers here. On the one hand "Rammstein", which are also kinda famous international and on the other side "Fettes Brot", which were after Fanta 4 one of the first better German Rap Groups.
So the Sun is getting Gay now... ;-)

Sweet Lobster - New DJ Le Clown

I couldn't resist; Sweet Dreams made me remember of those fantastic Dream's scenes of Alfred Hitchcock movie - maybe was also because the master asked an other crazy guy to imagine them for the screen; Salvatore Dali.
