New Electrosound Mash-Up Record

Electrosound, who hails from France and is quickly becoming  one of our favorite mash-up producers, has just released a full length mash-up record. This record utilizes a lot of eclectic artists such as Whitey, Does it Offend You..Yeah, The Rolling Stones, Rick James and more. This is definitely a great listen and we highly recommend you give it a listen too.

4 x German Mash-Up Action this weekend!

It's getting hot again in Germany this weekend!

                   

First we have Bootie Munich on Friday. And this month the theme is the "BOOTIE BATTLE SHOW". In the left corner we have BootOX "the Bavarian Bull" & in the right corner Schmolli, the "Austrian SLAYER". And both DJ's are fighting against each other with the hottest tunez. Don't miss the official trainingvideos by BootOX & Schmolli! Pure fun! I'm not completely sure who will win this crazy fight, but it's clear there will be only one DJ to rule them all! Let's get ready to rumble!

Also on Friday, I wanna welcome two new Mash-Up Partys:
The first one in Nürnberg by The Fabulous Beatmashers and the second on in Bonn called Mashed.Up. If you are around these areas, check them out and tell me how they went!

Probably the first Martha and the Muffins mash you've ever heard I reckon.  I know it was the first for me and when DJ Le Clown told me he had a new one featuring the band I just had to sample it.  A little blah, blah from Mr. Le Clown

"It's been a long time since i was dreaming to use Echo beach superb guitar gimmick in a mash....Busta Rhymes is one of my heroes ...I just love his voice and when i heard  will.i.am's voices on that gimmick; i knew that was it...It's funny how a bit of foreign harmony can fit to a voice ; on Martha & T.M.'s gimmick it sounds a bit like a Police's song which of course i love...Like most of the french, I've been ignoring for a long time the difference between a bitch and a Beach ...I always been attracted by tough girls : That's why i couldn't resist to use the sexy Emma Peel from the late 60's TV series "The Avengers"- i was in love with her when i was 16- and the dangerous Uma Thurman (kill bill) in this   video-bootleg. Well I won't say too much 'bout them cos' i don't wanna have any problems  with my own ...Beach"

What has nine arms and sucks?

...Def Leppard! Ah, an oldie but a goodie. Def Leppard was my favorite band at one time, when I was in Grade 3 or 4 and Hysteria was huge. Lots of home-made sharpie marker tattoos on the forearm with their excellent name font.  But over the years I definitely moved on to other things - I can't even tell you the name of their next album. Well Aggro1 just did something great, taking Def Leppard’s arena rock monster “Rock of Ages” from their ten-armed days and fused it with Goose’s electro-pop goodness “Girl.” The result is pure, unadulterated fun like you had in elementary school. Party on.
