New Tracks by Aggro1 & LeeDM101

  It always amazing when you stumble across a mash-up and at first glance are turned off by one or more of the sources and yet you give it a spin and it turns out to be a super righteous track. Such is the case in these two mash-ups by M-town's own Aggro1, and LeeDM101. In Aggro1's track he takes The Foo Fighters "Overdrive" up against the Hexstatic's "Burst" and creates something far and beyond what anyone would ever think is capable of a Foo Fighter track. Another thing that has been well appreciated from Aggro's tracks is some of the unfamilarity of his sources. It's always good to discover new things.
Second up is LeeDm101's mash of the Queens of the Stone Age's "No One Knows" (Unkle mix) vs. Maroon 5's "This Love". We amost hesitated to even listen to this, but am very glad that we did as we were thouroughly pleased. LeeDm101 does a wonderful job in re-setting the overall mood of Maroon 5, at a quick listen you might not even realize it's them.

The QotSA/Maroon 5 mash up is a bit of a cheat since they used the UNKLE remix of "No One Knows." But it's still a trip.

Um thanks Alex, I think! LOL. I used the UNKLE remix 'cause that was the one that fitted with the Maroon vox. I'm one of these mashup guys who likes to have things in what is sometimes known as 'in tune' or 'in key' - :-)
