The Super Cool duo of A plus D (a.k.a Adrian and the Mysterious D) just dropped a handful of new mash-ups to us over here at mashuptown. And we must say that we were stoked with what they had cooked up. How they find the time to keep their chains of Club Bootie going and put together so many quality mash-ups is amazing.
The first one that caught our attention was "Tobaco Club Action", which mashes together Yo Majesty's "Club Action" with Bonde Do Role's "Melo Do Tobacco" which samples Alice in Chains. "Tobaco Club Action" is for sure going to get the floors moving at Bootie. The second one, which proves that two wrongs actually do make a right, is "Pour Some Hot Sugar" in which A & D mash together Mims "This is Why I'm Hot" and Def Leopard "Pour Some Sugar on Me".

We haven't done any hip-hop bootlegs in a while, and now we've just done a few shameless rap/rock mashups in a row. Glad you guys are digging these two! We've been loving some recent rap acapellas lately, and they were really underutilized, so we just went for it.
Full disclosure and shameless plugs for our co-conspirator DJs at Bootie, who we have been, um, "inspired" by -- Party Ben made a Bonde do Role mashup with New Order a while ago ... we liked it, but it was really the original Bonde do Role track (with the Alice In Chains samples) that we fell in love with. And then DJ Paul V. made a mashup using the rap of Yo Majesty, and we fell in love with THAT. So D had the brilliant idea to put 'em both together. Thanks, Ben and Paul, for turning us on to some cool source material!

I am a hack / DJ hobbyist who has been catching myself inadvertently segueing from (singing to myself) Def Leppard's "Pour Some Sugar On Me" into Queen's "Another One Bites The Dust" and back again. It's pretty much because of the beat compatibility; I wonder if you could check these out and see what you can come up with.

Sorry about the mixup; I meant "We Will Rock You" but I wrote "Another One Bites The Dust" by mistake...
