Get ready to groove - get ready to move! This next track will light you up. One of those tracks that I instantly fell in love with and haven't stopped playing since I got it. Out of the London scene produced by Rokk who's making his first and most likely NOT last appearance on the MTown. 'Who Made Lily - Knock em out Girrl', a clever combination of Lily Allen's 'Knock em Out' and Who Made Who's 'Happy Girl'. Happy boot indeed.
"The track came bout coz i love creating bootlegs. I love creating stuff. And i was working for her record company at the time.
I'm not sure if i can say how i came bout mashing the two but i got hold of the accapella to Lily Allen's track and was messing about with it, tryin different
backing tracks etc . I thought more of how i'd like the track to sound so. I wanted
a LCD soundsystem feel, live drums and funky AS...so had a look through my
collection of WhoMadeWho coz i'd been in contact at the time with Tomas Barfod,
the producer and drummer for WHOMADEWHO and came across the instrumental track 'Happy Girl'.
It took around a week to edit the vocal and when it all started to fit into place, i couldn't
stop playing it! . I played it to my mates who loved it, even Lily (pah!) but she dint like it.
Tomas loved it so i was happy!"
