Our friend from Portland,the World Famous Audio Hacker started something outstanding, again. His concept is simple but very very smart. WFAH takes mashups using similar elements and mixing them into a new mashup remix kindda thing. He will make an album long material of these wicked creatures, and you can grab them track by track from his website. Here is how describes the thing: - I was a huge fan of the Osymyso project "50 in 05" from 2005 where Osymyso posted a different audio segment each week that was intended to lead to total a larger listening experience. I can't say I intend to rival Osymyso's creativity and talent, but I've decided to do a similar project that will end with a complete DJ set / mix / superchunk that will include remixes, mashups, original tracks, plunderphonics, noise and whatever else. This week is the first track, a 2 minute segment combining Wax Audio's "Whole Lotta Sabbath" with Party Ben's "Snoop Zeppelin"... I throw in some edits and remix-y noise. - Get more info and the rest of the pieces from WFAH's site when they come out, the next episode is coming April 17.
