Our friends in Paris, the bootlegsFr posse set up a very nice project again. They put on a mashup competition for the new Ashley Slater album. Ashley was the lead singer of the 90's cult band the Freakpower. The arrival and release of his new solo album times pefectly with the mashup competition. Each song is so fine, most of them feel like an original and the overall jazzy vibe makes me wanna boogie right now.
