TGIF.   Was scroungin' round DJ Max Entropy's Mashup vault and found this "Rough Edit" of a track that has some real power.  Perhaps this "outing" of the track will result in the final touches that Max seems to think it needs.  Anyways get ready for some CCR served up with a side of Black Eyed Peas.  Have a great weekend.  Peace.

Fasten your seatbelts folks!  Just heard from our newest member in MTown land.

I combined one of world's best rock bands ever: Metallica, with one of the best soul singers alive! Aretha Frankin. This mix has already been broadcasted by several radiostations in the Netherlands.

Too Many Doobies

Looks like WFAH was busy during his incarceration.  Perhaps he was locked up for distribution and use of illicit substances instead of bootlegs.  Judging from the title of this track that may be the case.  Anyway we are all glad you are out on bail WFAH.  Here is a little 411 on this track:

Soulwax's single "NY Excuse" kept nagging at me. I kept having a different guitar riff run through my head each time I heard it. Was it Joe Walsh, The Eagles or The Doobie Brothers? After a short bit of research, I came to realize it was "China Grove" by the Doobie Brothers. Live drummers from the 70s can't hold a beat for the life of them, however, so there are a couple imperfections. Hope you have a good laugh.

From his latest album 'Mashadelik' here is 'Too Many Doobies'.  This is too much fun.  Peace.
