You are about to encounter a very creative track from a newcomer to the Mashup scene Mixplosiv. Mixplosiv has punched out a brilliant track that combines Ray Charles - Hit the Road Jack, Norman Greenbaum's - Spirit in the Sky, ZZ Top's - La Grange, and Gary Glitter's - Rock and Roll Part 1. Great track. Great pairing of songs. Great editing. Only one problem: You obviously had to drop the pitch on the "Hit The Road Jack," so much so the vocals are a little too low to be believed.
Personally, I like mashups that feel as though the vocal fits perfectly with the new backing track. I'm curious: Could you have raised the pitch on the backing tracks instead of dropping the pitch on Ray? Or would it have gone out of key?
Nit-picking aside, a fine effort.

I was trying to keep from pitching up other elements but now that the mix has gotten so full those artifacts are invisible...I did an update and adjusted EQ and levels. I tweaked the pitch up too. Thank you for the feedback. -m

Awsome track! been playing it over and over.
It's so stuck in my head that when I heard Rihanna's "S.O.S." at a club later I could hear Norman Greenbaum's "Spirit in the Sky" mixing with her vocals in my head... hint hint ;)
