For your listening pleasure. A submission from Steve Dirkx out of Dallas TX. A very unique take on a Mashup of various Beatles tunes. This one makes me want to go out and abuse some substances. Have a great weekend. Big props to Steve. Peace
Also the DJ's/Artists/Producers are kind of down about the lack of comments on the tracks. So if you have a moment give 'em some feedback on the mp3's. Thanks.

I'll bite. This was awesome! I love The Beatles and this is a great way to smoosh a bunch of great ones all together! Nicely done!

Speaking from a musician's (and mashup fan's) point of view, it falls short. The track starts of promising, laying down a good beat and it's first hook, the piano lick from "Lady Madonna," but it never cashes in by breaking into a full song. It's essentially a two minute Beatles tease with a few of their hooks synced up to the drum track from "Strawberry Fields." It sounds to me like an unfinished idea, potentially a multi-layered, psychadelic trip. My suggestion: Raid "Revolution #9." There are scores of great samples waiting there that could be layered on to this track with haunting effect.
I also see you nibbled a bit of the harmonies from "Because." Why not grab the a cappella version from "Anthology" and go to town? You could grab the extended "aaaahhhs" from that track, use them as chords and literally assemble a new song.
A good start, Steve, but this could still go farther.
