Jim Morrison and the Doors visit
Sesame Street and todays show is sponsored by the letter 'M'. Can you think of a word that starts with the letter 'M'? How about the
Macarena!
Pilchard takes us back to a time in our childhood when Cookie monster taught us the proper way to eat cookies and when our rooms looked like Oscars trash can. You all have a great week and kick it off with Pilchard's Doors vs. Sesame Street vs. The Macarena. Sorry for the weak montage - if you can come up with a better one send it along. Before I forget major Props are in order for Greg St. Claire who whipped up our new dope banner for Mashuptown - you rock just like your
Band. Also thanks to all of ya' who've been taking in our streams at Mashuptownradio.com. We have climbed to number 10 on the College Internet Radio Charts in a very short time. If you have any suggestions for the site or station let us know. Enough already - Get ready to party and take a walk down Sesame Street.
Jim, can you tell me how to get to Sesame Street?

Macarena
Way back... Derrick Peters, mashup of Billie Jean/Sclub7 was on DSC. Could you find this track and post it? I know you can ask Adam for it but we "commoners" likely can't
Great stuff folks.

Don't you mean the Muppet Show? Great nonetheless. I also noticed a hint of Yazoo's Situation in there.

If I remember correctly that 'Manamana' dude was on Sesame Street. But someone let me know if I'm mistaken here.

WOW. I mean, wow, as in... uh, how can something suck so much and be so brilliant at the same time? The little Waldorf & Statler bit at the end has always been one of my favorites (and yes, I still have the record), but there's another, very simliar bit they do on the other side of the album that I think would have worked a little better, but that's just me.

That is a brilliant concept for a mashup! Is there any chance that you have a version without the Macarena? That pairing of the Doors and The Muppets is brilliant. It should really stand on it's own!
I would love to get a simple mix of the two. Maybe evn using the part later where the muppet goes off on a huge menomena rant?

The Manuh Manuh song was done on Sesame Street originally. Years later, it was also done on on the Muppet Show. Kinda like "It's Not Easy Bein' Green" was on the show but was also on the first Muppet Movie...

Your stuff is great, the creativity is so refreashing in this day and age. Keep up the good work and keep those mash ups coming.

The Mahna Mahna song is known most readily from The Muppets, regardless if it was first done on Sesame Street (which I don't ever recall, but I'm not going to argue it). I.e. Bruce Springsteen might have first done and recorded Blinded By The Light and For You, but Manfred Mann's Earth Band is the band that's most recognized for doing those two songs.
With the reference to "Sesame Street" in the theme, I was expecting The Doors mashed with the Sesame Street theme--the techno version or original one, or both ("Can you tell me how to get, how to get to Sesame Street?"). So the mashup title is a bit misleading.

I am crazy about watching movies in a good quality, so solve the search problem when I ve found in google this sites http://fileshunt.com and http://filesfinds.com - search engines for megaupload and rapidshare. I hope that would help you too.

Heard this on the radio one day. The DJs were kind enough to play it twice. Can't tell you how happy I am to find it and keep it! Good stuff!
